Allan Brunt receives Syl Apps Special Achievement Award

Our very own Allan Brunt has received a Syl Apps Special Achievement Award from Sport Alliance of Ontario. He was nominated by the Ontario Curling Association for his involvement in curling for the past 25 years.

Allan has held many positions in the various curling bodies over the years as well as coaching teams and being instrumental in starting the Little Rock program in Morrisburg.

Ian is the the Rules Chairman as well as the Zone 1 representative at the Ontario Curling Association.

Happy 90th birthday, Dorothy!

Happy 90th birthday to long-time Morrisburg curler, Dorothy Culkin, who celebrated with our Friday night fun league, along with many friends and neighbours at the Morrisburg Curling Club on January 16, 2009. Dorothy is seen in the photo below, showing some smooth moves to a teammate.
